Computer Modelling
The computer modelling activites are written for Berkeley Madonna. A free version (for either Windows or Mac) can be downloaded if you only wish to run the models supplied. You will need to buy a copy if you wish to author your own models.
An alternative for Mac users is to download the SGTMS modelling system from the downloads section.
Some activities are intended as demonstrations, others are written for independent student use.
As an example, download in pdf format the student sheet for a Terminal Velocity simulation. The model to go with this sheet is part of the full package of materials. An example of the output is shown below.
